I have had the opportunity to explore and taste some of the world's most unique and exotic flavors. One of my favorite discoveries has been cilantro, also known as coriander leaf, which is a staple in Egyptian cuisine.
Cilantro has a fascinating history, dating back to ancient Egypt, where it was used in both culinary and medicinal practices. It was even found in the tomb of King Tutankhamun! Today, cilantro can be found in dishes all over the world, from Mexican salsas to Thai curries.
 
Cilantro has a bright and citrusy flavor profile that can add a refreshing kick to any dish. It pairs perfectly with spicy and savory flavors, which is why I love to use it in my cooking.
